Not too many pictures work out of his photobucket account anymore.

Yep it was wrecked:
http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=91945
yeah, I found his username on FF as well
The carfax doesn't show any reported accidents or loss claims. I don't have the title from the dealer yet so I don't know if it has a rebuilt/salvaged title. It drives nice and straight and there is no sign of major damage to the rear suspension. The only thing that I can see any sign of the wreck is this dent

The NX kit worries me a little since the compression on the head is even higher than stock - not sure why you would mill the head if you are using nitrous. I'll do a compression check soon.
The other mods are fine, I just hope they are done right.
What's a hypnotic tune?
I'm thinking of taking off the eibach springs because they seem to cause the tires to rub the fenders at bumps in the road.
I'm not sure the cutout is still there. An ORP is a cat-delete right?

thanks guys for all you help and support

Neat project. It'll be satisfying to bring that wreck back from the ashes.

wow! good luck with the project your definately making good progress! I sympathize with you every step of the way as I'm pretty sure my current focus was abused almost as badly!

in dRews defense when he complimented the previous owner the paint looked great, the wheels were 10000x better and it still had stock tails.

I'm definately excited to see where this goes!

No, he put it up for sale.

The next day it was wrecked.

The day after that he posted it was wrecked.

The day after that he went and bought his new car.

My goodness you've got your hands full! Best of luck to you. It'll definitely be rewarding when you're done with it, and it seems as though you have the will power and know how to do it right.

Hypnotic was a "tuner" who sold a fair number of SCT flashers to folks both here and on FF. From what I've heard, most of the tunes ranged from equal to stock to less than stock. A lot of folks had trouble getting tech support from him and then he kind of disappeared.

Oh, and from what I've heard, nitrous loves compression. But I don't think that nitrous and a Hypnotic tune go together all that well.

The head work is what surprises me, though I think that description needs some more clarification. If that head has +1mm oversized valves and a port job, I'd say it's worth about a grand. Not sure why it would be milled though... maybe it means decked/shaved?

I'm guessing it means decked/shaved as well.

that should be a pretty mean flowing NA svt if the head work was actually done that the PO says was done....

what confuses me is who does that sort of headwork plus nitrous and then uses a hypnotic tune and a fart can?
