Most excellent... the move from G Stock to H Stock definitely has helped those cars. The SVT Focus is moving to H Stock next year as well.
I'm definitely a fan of the EP hatch.

Welcome!
As with any pictures of our members, this post will be moved to Team Rigz. Enjoy your stay. Quite a few folks here run SCCA, and they're usually roaming about at events and this forum.

I just wish the EP had the drivetrain/powertrain of the current because i was a fan of that hatch! I was in love with the 00Si and almost got one when i was looking for a car in 2000-2001, but when i got wind of the focus i wanted to be original and went for it...wish i waited a year for the SVT
![]() i am really excited and happy to hear you posting on a Focus forum....really it says a lot that there are guys out there that just love cars and arent jackasses to all those that arent the same as their's. While i have a lot of friends with civics/others that love my car, there are just too many out there that have egos bigger than their machinery. I knew if i posted up on honda forums with my car it would just be flame bait all around. Welcome man, love to hear your into the racing scene and LEGAL...you'll find a lot of good people here and super knowledgable all around (not to mention many people owning cars of all types including hondas) ![]() Where are you in jersey? We should be getting a CT/NY/etc meet together before the end of the summer and you are more than welcome. Check out the regional sections, both MidAtlantic and NewEngland. -chris |

Cool to see someone post over here from an otherwise hater-filled Honda crowd.
Welcome dude! -spatakula

and ended up with a paper weight i loved my Si and im not gonna bad mouth it but i'll tell ya this, i recently went for a run through some twistys up past denton texas with some EVO guys and i was hanging MUCH better than i expected with evo 8,9, and the new evoX, the SVT suspension is amazing for what it is and it cant wait to get the Ground Control 450/475lbs springs and struts ![]() http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...d4cbfef5fb.jpg http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...2ce54647b0.jpg http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/i...98a792a274.jpg

Man, I ALMOST bought one of these back in 03 when I was looking at getting a new car. Only reason I didn't get it was because of the shifter........Other than that, they look pretty sweet! Looks fun to drive too.

. i guess i cant really comment on the shifter. i learned how to drive manual on it so now everything else feels out of place.

i stole that pinch weld idea from Ataru
![]() got up and did it this morning. i think it came out well. i used some epoxy paint from advance auto: ![]() before pic: ![]() during: ![]() ![]() after: ![]() quick easy and i think it improved the look of my car from side view. ill go back in and do another coat later one day, but i just wanted to get a feel for how it would look first.
