Yep, the rims are just a standard set of EAPs that have been painted Antique Brass Metallic (a Home Depot color)

Coming along.....and I also can use a life when ever I want too.
My dad is the manager for Midas Muffler and I only get a bay when it is not busy(So I retract my statement as far as when I want one, lol!).......which has been pretty busy as of late, lol! Need to balance and rotate my tires and do an oil change and get ready for winter! Ahh.........I hate winter! |

My dad has the same hoist in his garage. I use it for everything I do on my car...

![]() ![]() ![]() I think that's about the most awesome thing I've ever seen before ![]() You know what the really weird part is though? The random PA plate that I got for the car was EVL 1482, which was cool because I love blink-182. Then I bought a random German plate and it was SAD FI 777, which was funny because the car was sad up front and evil in the back and 7's one of my favorite numbers. However, last summer when I dove deeper into modding the car, my buddies were all trying to convince me to get RTTL TRP for both a PA vanity plate as well as a German plate upfront. I actually had the paperwork for the PA plate already filled out and was gonna get it up until the day I bought the Tiburon ![]() -Brian

^what actually made you decide to pull the trigger and get rid of the foci? I couldn't get **** for my car so I decided to keep mine, but I drive it like twice a month if it's lucky. But you drove yours every day and had all kinds of stuff you were buying for it didn't you?

He got new car fever and didn't have the means to fix the problems the car had, if I recall correctly. Hafftrak's lift of fury got it back in working order and put the car where it belongs: boogeymanning cones.
By the way, good post about the Euro plate on Team EDM!

I had the means to fix the couple little issues that I had with the car (mainly normal maintenance things) and definitely had a lot more planned for it, but with the amount of driving that I do, I just felt that I'd be better off in a car that had a warranty and less than 100K miles. I told myself that I wouldn't buy another car unless I got it for a phenomenal price, and considering what I paid for a brand new $23.5K sporty car I don't think I could've gotten a better deal anywhere. I also told myself that I wouldn't get rid of Rattletrap unless she went to a great owner, so Dean got screened by me and once I knew that he'd be the perfect owner for the car and it was just what he wanted, I knew it was time for me to pull the trigger

We almost pulled the trigger on a fusion SEL about a month back though I didn't make it public on here. It was to replace my wifes car but the focus and her car would have to go as well. In short since then the wifes car has been backed into and a taillight busted out, curbed with a bent wheel and 4" gash in the sidewall and door dinged. I'm glad we didn't spend the money we wanted to.

![]() ![]() That must've been quite a pot hole; I hit a couple over the years with those wheels and it never did any sort of damage. They're repairable at least, right? ![]() -Brian

It was a freakin crater. Looked down at the stereo, looked up just in time to see it go under the car. No time to react.
That's the extent of the damage there. The barrel looks fine, I think just the lip is deflected about 1/8". I don't really know much about repairing wheels, but you'd think that could be repaired, no?

i have had tires with rocks between the lip and tire that held air...
i dont think it will affect the wheel (other then balance perhaps?). click to see rocky rim ![]() http://zeebone.com/gallery/d/32500-3/DSC00893.JPG

That seems to be the general consensus with everyone I've asked. I'm going to pound it out and let it buck.

I had a wheel repaired that had a similar bend and it was fine. That should still hold air but will probably be out of balance.

I'd also say that it should be fine, Dean. Just don't go driving through a rock quarry like that goofball CJ
