Angry Re: Almost done....

LOL...gotta love this. Been a while since my last post...noticed that the web page changed a little. Logged on and noticed that the Teams Rigz didn't want to refresh to allow me to see any of the new posts since 1:00 pm...but what is really weird, it only affected the Teams Rigz area...looking at my posts now trying to read the replies and can't see any...well I assume that most are good replies...hehe...will be trying to figure out this issue...

Ahhhh...now I can see your replies...I love computers...lol. As for the wheels, had them done in VA. I wish that I had a powdercoating booth. The colors were my design. Originally, I wanted to powdercoat the wheels chrome. Was told that it wouldn't look as great as real chrome and plus it would oxidize. He showed me some of his candies. Was going to just have the outer lip done in candy red, but I've seen that. Decided to go with the design that you see now...the flat black was a last minute change. Was supposed to be glossy black. The black was the final coat and he showed me a pic of the powder...so we went with flat

Now to look for the next major mod...thx or the compliments.

The car looks awesome, all I would suggest is painting the calipers black to finish off the look.

Looks great! My only suggestions are amber turns and painted Machs. The chrome isn't flowing with the rest of the car.

I really like it!

However, with the euro kit and all, a set of euro wheels would be great!!

yeah...the chrome does stick out. I had silver Ultraleggras before the Attacks. Was saving up to pick up some Fikse rims...things change. Have the smoked out turns on order. Will smoke out the rest of the lights as well, but I need to find out some info about the laws of TX. What I can or can not do. K then...ty for the advice. Cheers.

don't tint the headlights. Crack em open and paint the housing black. Look in exterior mods for the methods to do this.

looks great!

I like everything except the huge bra in the windshield

Repeating the props for those wheels, very nice custom paint design and execution.

Seriously great job! I have been toying around with wheel color ideas for a couple of months and haven't seen anything that got my attention.
Your wheels get my attention, i love the bright color on the flat black! Your design will influence my choice for sure!

Thx for the compliments.

Took my SVTF to the local dealership to get some things worked. Found out earlier this week, will be heading out to Guam. For those of you who want to know what I do for a living, not in the military (been there done that), I'm a govy contractor. Spent the last 10 years of my life working with the CIA. Had dreams of resigning and getting a normal job in San Antonio, TX...ain't going to happen.

Well anyways, went to the dealership. Kind of funny on how much attention the SVTF gets when minor mods are done to it. Had an '10 Mustange GT there and an '09 SES Focus with EAP wheels. As soon as I pulled up, was like flys on poop. One of the service guys there popped the hood and yelled, "Where's the turbo?!?!" Those wheels cost me $150 each.

Just put in a large order with CFM on some NA parts. Decided on not to go with the FI. Keeping her as a daily driver and to do some spirited driving on the weekends while out in Guam. Cheers//Frank.

Yea, dealerships are fun. Ford for life. Plus a Subaru. Then back to Ford thereafter.

Again, love the wheels, I predict we see more of your paint design in the future.
