I don't think that Josh ever 'officially' posted the one rolling shot of my car coming back from Redman in the spring.

This man is THE SHIZ when it come to photo shoots!

Thanks for all the props, guys! The car (and these wheels) have been a long time coming, and they've been well worth it. Despite a few expensive headaches, i think they really look like they belong on the car. And there will be more good shots to come, promise.

Yessir! They're your old ones, Ollie! They're getting on in age a little bit, and i'm gonna be cleaning them up here pretty soon. But i still love 'em!

Edit : did not find wheel specs.
I'm going to guess 16x7 on 205/40 or 16x8 on 215/40, et high to mid 30s.
Thanks a lot! And you are very close on the specs. They are indeed OZ Vega. They're 16x7.5 all around, with staggered lips. I believe the fronts are ET33, and the rears are 35. I could be wrong, but i think that's pretty close. 195/40 all around as well.

Sheesh, i wouldn't even begin to tell you where to look. As hard as the grille is to find anymore, getting just the emblem might be quite a quest! eBay, maybe?

Kinda makes the lights look like they should be body color now, kinda like the corvette style. If the thought ever crosses your mind, I'd swap ya my chrome/factory machs, for your black machs. even trade.....lmk......

Or, you could get the black side markers.... not sure which would look better......ANYWAY!!!!!
The car indeed looks ultra clean with the stock hood. If you've ever wondered why machs cost so much it's because Dave is hoarding the world's supply.

Looking great. I am glad you soldiered on with these wheels. I am little distracted by the OZ-logo centercap. These are 2-piece wheels? I wonder how would color-matched centers look. How hard was to find 195/40 tires? Post more pictures whenever you can!

Thanks man, I appreciate it! And they're actually a 3-piece.

I've been rolling around the idea of color-matching certain parts of the wheels, but i don't know. I think they may just stay a classic silver for awhile. It wasn't too bad finding 195's. I at first wanted Continentals, but they discontinued making them in that size, so i found Yokohamas that have worked really well.

Please don't ruin those rims by painting them. That would be a shame.

I love your car as it is. One beautiful SVT!

As for painting the wheels, I think the only thing that could look right would be a slightly darker center, like anthricite, with the lip still silver. If not that, then keep them as they are.

Kudos to you sir!

the industrialist inspired me to dig out a pic Josh took.

I drove like this for a day. And sacrificed an 02 sensor in that short span.

It dawned on me that this thread is missing rollers. Here is one that has been out there for a bit...

Now for the worlds crapiest rolling shot. Sexting while you drive is played.

In that last shot, is the OZ photoshopped like that? The wheel is spinning, but you can read the OZ as if it was sitting still.

You can kinda tell that the shutter speed was fairly quick for a rolling shot, and the center cap wouldn't have blurred as much the tire. I could be wrong, but my guess is it wasn't Photoshopped.
