The RS dash has something yours does not....

Black AC vents and corner defroster vents The 99 cent can of flat black from Home Depot works great and has held up in my car for 2+ years

The RS steering wheel is NOTORIOUS for fading and peeling along the blue sections. I'll be custom restitching the SVT one instead. The clock in the stereo surround is tempting, but other things take priority.

The RS also typically has better photographers and photo-equipment... I assure you that my poor 8yr old digital camera from my first trip to play soccer in Europe SUCKS in terms of showing the car is a positive light (and flash is no ones friend for showing off a car). Once I get closer to having the car completed, I want to get someone with a little bit more photographic skill to take some pics.

Most of them, iwsti and "nabisco" haha, couple other smaller ones I check back to every now and then. AW STi FTW, good choice.

svt2rs, i got to see a focus interior here, a 2006 foci, it has some of the euro stuff, like black vents, the ac controls, the stereo surround with clock, under steering wheel pocket, and some other stuff i cant remember, all 2006 foci have euro parts, the thing is that they are only sedan so i cant find "hatchback only" parts, if you need any help, send me a pm with the part you are looking for, with a picture of it, part number is not needed, i can simply show a guy that works at ford

Might hit you up for some stuff eventually Right now I have plenty on my plate to handle installing, so I'll probably wait until I clear some space for more parts to store, lol.

I really need to get a better camera, so pardon the cellphone-like pics, but once again it got dark before I had the stuff in for another fitting. I still need to fiberglass the sides and obviously smooth/finalize the gauge pod and repaint, but more or less she's gonna work!

Very nice!! Looks better than mine, I think.

Also I just noticed something... you have the un-stitched seat bases. Since you daily drive the car (if I remember correctly), your seat cover is going to end up wrinkling fairly quickly. Talk to the RSOC guys and check out the stiched pics, and have an interior shop stitch yours.

It's no longer daily driven (not since summer of this year, as I bought a small pickup truck Haha, actually, the Focus has only accrued 87 miles since June, lol. I only buy gas 1/4 tank at a time now!

I have been looking at getting the stitching done when I redo the steering wheel, and definitely a good call based on what we've read on the RSOC forums!! I have a whole 'nother RS interior (in more or less mint condition) waiting for me with family in the UK, and it might be going in as soon as next summer, but I will more than likely fix this one up in the meantime and certainly try to avoid damaging the leather!

p.s. I think majority rules on the interwebz, your pod is better reviewed
