Thanks Ray!
As soon as my server comes back up, I'll pose some more pics. For our cars.... Silver Although not as modified or as fast as some of the other cars out there, it was one of the first be modified, and one of the longest owned. It is always used as a daily driver along as a track toy. It climbed Mount Washington twice been to the Carlslile show. It has completed over 100 miles on the track in a single day, then driven to work the rest of the week. It has carried everything from newborn puppies to literally 100's of pounds of concrete driveway pavers and transported rescued dogs. 2000 Focus Zx3, Ordered Jan 31, 2000. Arrived May 14th, 2000. First mod done May 15th, 2000 (Had the early RS (before the turbo car) rear wing painted and installed). Exterior Mods RS rear wing (done in 2000) Euro Taillights (done in 2001) rally urethane mudflaps fiberglass color matched eyelids Bosch foglights mounted with custom fabricated brackets clear side lights. rear fog light Interior German Headlight switch with front and rear foglight positions Panasonic CD player Ford "Focus" Stainless door sill protectors Autopower Bolt in 4pt roll bar G-Force 5 point racing harness Rest all stock and installed Suspension Koni Yellow Adjustable shocks/struts Progress springs (Old skool green ones) Eibach Sway bars Wheels stock split spokes with 205/50/15 Kuhmo R compounds for the track also a set of 205/50/15 Azenias SVT 5 spokes with 215/45/17 Eagle F1's for the street Stock split spoke with Nokian 195/60/15's for winter Motor K&N Drop in filter with resinator removed and box swiss cheesed. Magnaflow exhaust Car driven to the track, Run all day long, turned a 1:12, then driven home. Current mileage is 123,456 (I have a pic to prove) and still gets 35+MPG on a highway trip. ![]() ![]()

Not sure about that. mysvtftoy has about 50 track days on his car.

Most other cars nominated have giant mod lists and big power to flaunt. I don't so I tried to highlight how much me and my little turd have done since I started to get faster, and thats all been working on the driver, not so much the car. Regardless, I nominated Kim for a reason ( though he has won once already) The car is awesome and he is tirelessly improving it and his driving skillZ.

I nominate jimy_f_84, Dfocusin, Terrible1, dhardison, McSVT
I am technically eligible again for our FOTM, although it is always nice to see someone different being honored for participation here on FJ and within the wider community I do appreciate being nominated, though. With that in mind, here are some (reposted) images of the car being flogged: ![]() ![]() My signature has links to in-car cams, more pics, and specs. There have been a good many changes since May 2007. I'm hoping that from here on in, $$$ spent will mostly involve keeping the money pit in track-ready condiition (expensive enough in and of itself). Cheers, fellow travellers. Last edited by mysvtftoy; 09-16-2009 at 11:31 PM. |
