Default Rare Rally Car

I picked up this little Gem a few days ago and its everything i could have ever wanted.

Its a 1988 Mazda 323 GTX. 1.6L AWD Turbocharged 3dr Hatch.
This is a rare and classic rally car. Only 1200 where brought and sold in the US. This one has 150k Miles has NO rust or dents. I picked her up for $2000.
The Racing seats are no longer in it but everything else is still the same.
Here are the Pics

YEA! its insane that it dosent have rust. If you look at the lights there is a bracket on each side of the 2 bottom fogs on the bumper. that a bolt out of each, pop the hood and take 4 more bolts out and the 4 lamps and bracket on the top pops right off.

Cool little car with a ton of potential. It's been years since I've seen any out on the roads down here. Stock ones are kind of a sleeper too unless you know what you're looking at.

in a literal use of the car, yes but as a dd i'd take the lights off, more of a sleeper i think, less attention

A buddy of mine had one of those (not the rally version) years ago. That thing was awesome, such a sleeper. It took me on in my IROC numerous times and took me a couple times...

The lights are an attention and bug catcher. As the car sits right now I have the full interior in it with the exception on the center console and the 4 mount light bar the 2 fogs on the bumper are still there. I'm leaving for basic training and AIT in 2 weeks but when I get back I'll throw the cage in and do some rallyX and ice racing

Stock Runs about 8psi. With a new Filter, HKS Exhaust, and a Chip I can do 15psi.

Good show sir.

Leave it mostly alone in the driveline dept. and it should last you a long time.

Unless you do a full build, the trans will stop supporting the power pretty quickly.

Leave it alone and have fun, you own a car that I have lusted after for many years.

Im not Familiar with the Capri XR2 but yes this is the B6T.
I would love to pick up a 1.8L BPT but I wanna keep it Classic and stick with the same motor.
