Default Scotland, the RS and lots of Fun!

Scotland has loads of fantastic scenery and amazing driving roads, so my wife and I took a few days off, packed up the RS and set off.

On the Friday the weather wasn't the best but that didn't stop us as I knew we were going to have fun. We headed north to catch a ferry to the isle of Skye.

We met this chap on the way.

His name is Hamish.

Some of the roads on the way to the ferry.

On the ferry the RS was in good company

Most of the roads on the Island are single track.

Couple of the RS looking back over to the main land.

Saturday and Sunday we went back over to the main land and headed further north to a place called Applecross. This place was breathtaking, the RS was right at home there on what had to have been the best roads of the weekend.

Some scenery.

The road to the highest point in Scotland.

And more of the RS.

You could drive for an hour and not see another car, turn a corner and suddenly.......

couldn't believe this so got out for another quick snap

Spent alot of time here

712miles of fun fast driving and nearly £200 in fuel this is how the car looked after it all.

Great weekend, hope you all enjoy the pictures

Wow gas is expensive there.

700 miles for me is a little less than 3 tanks, which is about $78 or so. Which is like what, 50 euros? Haha.

Nice pics mate, reminds me of my time there, I lived there for 8 months when I was 20. Most of my family lives in Scotland. I remember that road up to Sky. Remember a cople of those roads you have pics of. We took the bridge across when we went, it had just opened and my Uncle hadn't been across it yet.

You know what is funny....

I am 10x more jealous of the scenery than the RS, lol. South FLA is such an urban ****hole, I hate it here.

Awesome stuff on both counts man, thanks for sharing!

What an awesome place to take a weekend drive. Beautiful!
It's good to get the car dirty - because then you get to clean it, huh?!

Hope that isn't damage on your wheel... just a smudge of something.

Those roads though, man, looks like a WRC event waiting to break out. Tell me you didn't imagine you as CMR blasting through the Scottish countryside in your Race prepped WRC Martini Focus.

Hamish shot is full of... needing a trim. He looks like one of the Beatles.

Awesome pics and trip. Love the first one of the Scottish Highland Cow. We used to have a couple here on the farm. They were the best.

Car looks good too, but I like the cow more.
