Default Another Day = Another Set of Wheels

I have quite a bit of work to do to get them to fit the car correctly. Right now it can hardly come out of my garage.

Also, I just got a new camera and I've been playing around with a bunch of the settings. Some of the pictures look a little off, but it started to sprinkle and I didn't want it to rain on a freshly washed car.

Once I get the tires on there in the right size I'll be make sure to do a proper photoshoot at a proper location.

    Looks great!

I saw the thread title and thought it was one of Ken's threads. Pleasantly surprised

I said "holy ****" out loud when I saw the first pic. The rest do not disappoint. If you need any tips on fender rolling, shoot me a text or call, I've got it down pretty well.

Thanks, fenders have been rolled and pulled via my Eastwood roller... and the rubber mallet next to it.

There's a little more room there, but its more the size of the tires and offset of the wheels than anything else.

These RE760s are WIDE, couple that with 8" and 23mm offset and you've got quite a combo.

    Plans to make it right:

    205/40/18s
    Adjustable camber arms (Keegans perhaps)
    Beer.

Jason, I like Euro tails on cars without the Euro rear bumper. With the red/white combo of the reverse lights the red/yellow clashes IMO.

I've got 215/35/18s on my RS wheels. The 205s will be fine.

Thanks for the pic, but if I do anything back there I'm going with Eurostars.

It must be the style of the wheel, but those Works look larger than 18s. They look like they could be 19s or 20s. My mind must be playing tricks on me.

You know what you need.....you need some Kosei K1s to use as daily wheels now. I know someone who would take your RS wheels off of you so you can easily get those K1s.

I'm actually getting rid of everything smaller than 18" the new brakes (not on the car yet) won't fit a wheel that's not 18+.

Something I've always wondered.....I've read that on some wheels you might be able to machine about 5mm off the mounting surface of the wheel to help with the offset, but when doing that you would have to drill new lug holes so they have the correct depth to the lug seat.

However, would it be possible to take the rotors and machine 5mm off the face that the wheel mounts to? Same effect, easier process it would seem.

That would give you a 28et instead of 23et.

That was actually part of the original plan, the problem is there isn't enough material to just machine anything off of the rear of these wheels.

And I'm definitely not going to drill another set of lug holes, I can't stand dual drill wheels.

I'll make 'em work just fine, all it takes is more money and time... thank goodness I've got a supply of both before FR'12.

But my question was about machining off the rotor, not the wheel.

Ahh, missed that. I'll have to look at the ones in the garage.

The problem is now every other set of wheels I have will need spacers just to be where they were before....

    Hmmm....

One set of 5mm spacers is worth it to help those Works fit just right!
