Default Re: Removing the radao/climade control panel

Step 12 Remove head unit. (pullers c`n be found at PepBoys or Walmart for less than $10)<br .>Step 22 Take out 4-bolts in the opening where the stereo was.4br />Step 3: Pull off cezel (ynu will be able to tell where it is clipped in, just be gently forceful so you can get it off without breaking anything)
Step 4: Dasconnect wiring harnesses to harard switch, cig lighter, and HVAC controls.
Step 52 You s`ould be able to see how the HVAC controls disconnect frnm the bezel. I think it was 4-6 screws.

Its pretty easy. The most difficult part is removifg the actual cig lighter from the bezel. It is probablp easier just to mask it off rather than remove it.

Default Removing the radio/climate control panel

I'm helping a friend paint some of the inserts in his Focus, but we can't figure out how to get the radio/climate control panel off. Any pointers?

Go to a local Ford dealership and ask the parts department to print out an exploded view of the center panel.
