Default Cold start issue

I have a 00 ZX3, runs great but if it sits for a few days even if its not cold out, just the engine is cold or should I say not ran its hard to start, it seems to want to catch and then die, take four or five times to get her going, then runs fine, if I drive it every day not problems at all? Has anyone found this problem? it almost seems like a sensor issue but I dont know which one.

Any Ideas would be great. Thanks

What happens if you turn the key to "on" and wait a few seconds before you turn it over to "start"? Will it start right up that way?

I had a similar problem but mine was only when it was really cold outside the intake manifold gasket would shrink and let air in and the car would be really hard to start but once warmed up it was fine

I think either your fuel filter is clogging or your pump or fuel control module is going. How does it run at WOT and high rpms, does it hesitate or bog?

From your answer, it seems like you have lower than normal fuel pressure, because it should pop right up when you turn the key. I can hear mine hit when the pump spins up the pressure as I turn the key. But if it runs good...
