Is the plug clicked in securely? Is the charge wire connected to the output post on the alternator? Is the charge wire connected at the battery terminal?

I would first go to a junk yard and try to find one. Else I would probably take some electrical tape and wrap it around the out side of the connector to try and make a snug fit, or put some RTV silicone around it after it is plugged in to try and hold it.
