At low rpm(500-2000ish) when you put the throttle to the floor it revs then around 1500 it starts to bog down and almost stall....any idea what could be causing this?
thanks.....

The simple (classic) answer for your year Focus would be that your fuel pump is going out, low pressure in the fuel rail. But that usually shows up first only at higher rpms, unless it went off suddenly. Have the mods been on for awhile, or is it possible you have a leak?

It just recently started...it has somone pick up and go at the higher rpm's and the dealer replaced the said "nasty fuel pump" a good 3 months ago...so yea thats why i'm so damn bewildered about this maf sensor, o2 sensor maybe?

Check for vacuum leaks around the TB/intake tube, or the PVC hose, or one of the fittings on the manifod.

ok new devolpment i was driving home tonight and boom lost all power....looked under the hood to see the the wire harness that carries the MAF sensor wires and the coilpack wires seemed to be melted...further investigating the wire loom i noticed one wire was torn in half...so i fixed that problem and took the coilpack out...i own a screamin demon coil pack and a MSD coil pack and i never paid attention to this before but the right hand side coil and both coil packs have cracks the whole way through just on the right coil though...any ideas what could of caused that?

wouldnt know about the cracks... maybe overtightening when mounting... but not sure...
as for the wiring harness... the coil pack wiring is a common problem but i havnt heard of the MAF wiring harness meltig before... thats a new one. My car was doing simular thing for the last year and I couldnt ever figure it out... stand on it from a dead stop and it would buck the car hard as if it wasnt getting any fuel... Ive replaced everything... fuel pump, filter, coil pack, coil harness, plugs, wires, pcv system, checked it over for leaks time and time again... checked the dpfe... nothing was working.... I finally finished my new motor build and dropped it in with every sensor on the motor replaced and so far... it seems like the problem is gone... so I'm lead to believe its a sensor problem. W/ my xcal hooked up and datalogging... I noticed I was dropping ignition advance when this would happen... sometimes it would retard the timing instead of advancing it.. but no one could tell me what would cause it.... anyways... hope this gives you some ideas as to what to look for. good luck -AcId-
