Default Hose leak

Hey everyone I'm new here. I'm not very car savvy and I was hoping i could get some help.

My focus (2001 16 valve zetec) has a gaping hole in some coolant hose. It looks easy enough to replace but i wasnt sure what hose to buy or how to get the clamps off with out breaking them. Here's a picture. Any help would be most appriciated. Thank you!

That's a pretty big hole

I'd recommend getting the part from Ford. We have a dealer sponsor on here, Tousley Ford, that can get one for you at a great price.

I'll move this to Team Tech for some input on tips for replacing the part. I know some folks have replaced the part.

I recently replaced the same part om my car(same year and model as yours)
The part is availble as a in stock item from the dealer and cost me $32.55
Just head down to your local dealers parts dep. and ask them for the part
(they have a parts diagram with pic.s so you are sure to get the right part)
The tube comes with replacement plastic rivets so dont worry about them breaking... good luck.

Don't be embarrassed. I bet there are quite a few folks who are lurking about with the same problem. We're here to all learn.

Don't be embarrassed, if you dont know much about cars its sooo much better to be cautions then assume you know things you dont.
