Default "Big 3"

Well i just did that hoping it would hep with my dimming lights when i come up to a stop, but it didnt. I dont have a system and i dont need the a/c on for it to do it either. Just dont know if i have a bad battery/alternator. Im stuck.

my cars interior lights dim when i got the audiophile system @ 28+....

but thats it.. stock battery with 23k

Have you tried a load test on the battery?
Did you clean all connections when you did the big three (ground areas, ground lugs and screws)?
Did you apply some die electric greasy to everything?
Also an easy way to check an alt is to use a voltmeter and see if you are getting 14 - 14.5 volts at idle at the battery terminals.

I was having the same issue until I replaced the 3-pin harness connector on the alternator.

The connector is WPT-118, but I don't know the full part number. Should be less than $30.

did you replace the wire part that comes out of the cars harness, or the terminal on the alternator

look into a NEW alternator, try to go oem, or an actual name brand, not the crap from advance auto parts, or auto zone, the price difference is worth it
