Exclamation IAT thrown Code and loss of vacuum. help!

let me start out by saying i have a 04 fsvt, with a procharger sc kit. Everything was running beautifully for months until on my way home from work one night in a rain storm. I would miss fire around 5psi of boost, from what i gathered this was from sucking in water from rain. then next morning i start the car and im getting a p0112 code iat low, i clear it drive it around get p0113 code. the car has a tremendous amount of loss power. and when im at idle more so when its cold when the ac pulley turns on i loose like 5psi a vacuum, as the car warms up its looses less and less but still i can here the ac pulley turn on sounds like a light psss sound.note the ac nore heat is on during this. Since the iat sensor is in the maf i took it out and cleaned it with electronic cleaner. I think the loss of power is from the iat sensor thrown code probably got wet and ruined, and i geuss ill have to get a new maf to fix that, but why am i losing vacum when the ac pulley starts to spin.

Is your IAT sensor relocated? If so, replace the IAT sensor. If not you need a new mass air flow sensor. Or it may be a good time to relocate the IAT to the boosted side if you are draw thru but I believe the PC setup is blowthru. I would also recomend a K&N drycharger filter cover to prevent any future issues like this. Your loss of vacuum could be from the car running off from the IAT sensor issue. Running rich or lean at idle can affect how much vacuum you see. Don't get into boost till you resolve this issue.

I would invest in a wideband as well if you don't currently have one.

i geuss ill start with a new maf, see if that helps the ac vac problem. i understand that i would loose vac when the ac pulley comes on but there isint any reason why it should be on and it never did before until i started getting this code, hopefully a new maf is the fix all

No, not if it's not blowing. Interior fan has to be on.
