I got nothing but good to say about my Kumhos.... Don't have the paradas so can't make any comments on them...
I heard their wet-traction was less than desireable. I think wrcfan mentioned something about that.... ask him... |

if you read some of the reviews on tirerack about the parada's, they sound like some super phat tires. that's what i hav eplanned to get for mine. may want to read up on them though before you go buying them. like i said, it sounded like they were great tires, wet and dry.

how about dry weather? Since im in cali, theres more sun than rain, so if the paradas are better than ill get them, plus they look way cool. i want all out grip. how long do paradas last under regular and sometimes hard driving??

Again, the Paradas have a lower traction rating than the Kumhos do, according to UTQG ratings.
Kumhos have a traction rating of AA (the highest) while Paradas have a rating of A (the 2nd highest). peace |

I think the parada's are more show than performance. Don't the Kumho's cost less anyway?

I have the Paradas. Wet and dry traction is fantastic. Besides that, they look awesome. I have not been disappointed in any way with mine.

I love my Parada's. But I have to have 2 of them replaced cause my wheel weights came off causing wheel bounce hence bald areas on my 2 rear tires.

I have the Kumhos on my car and have done about 5-6 auto-x events with them.
They rock. Wonderful progressive grip all the way to and past the limit. Good wear too, mine are wearing nice and linearly. As has been previously stated they have a better traction rating then the paradas. Finally they are spectacular in the wet as well. Best bang for your buck in performance tires hands down. ------------------ Chris Feist Black 00' ZX3 5spd Mods |

Absolutely not. Dont even think about it. Traction will be pretty much nil in snow on ANY Z rated summer tire. I have my stock rims/RS-As on for winter. They are ok but I would still reccomend proper winter tires. I have them on because I want to wear down the tires and then get some slicks or R compounds for strip/auto-x use. ------------------ Chris Feist Black 00' ZX3 5spd Mods |
