i've read on here sometime that someone took their tires off and weighed their stock rims and they were 19 lbs. or so. not too bad but could be a lot lighter. ford overbuilds their wheels in most peoples opinions.

19lbs for the 16x6s perhaps... but pretty sure it was 16lbs for the 15x6s (plus the benefit of smaller diameter wheels on acceleration).
My 16x6.5s are pretty porky too (19lbs), but they were too cheap to pass up. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] They have nice 16x7 forged wheels in there, but who cares if its not available with the right offset and lug spacing. [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img] We'd really need a Focus specific list, as I'm sure its not the cheapest thing in the world to get a set of custom offset custom drilled wheels (anyone have estimates). |

My Enkei RS6s 17x7 weigh 20.2lbs. Is that a pretty good wight 4 wheels of that size?
