Goodyear Eagle F1's - Any good? - Focaljet

I am currently running Falken ZE-502's which I am very happy with. However, I have been offered a set (new) of Goodyear Eagle F1's for under £300 which I believe is quite a good deal. Although I have heard good things about these tyres I have not actually been able to speak with anyone that actually runs them. Does anyone have experience of these tyres, I am particularly interested in their ability in the wet.

They put them on the C5 Corvette.
