ok what offset would i need to fit 17x9's ?
i plan on having my fenders replaced and custom fender flares made to cover the wheels
i just need to know what offset would it require to fit them on without rubbing on the inside?

just curious, but what size tire were u planning to use?? i'm figuring a 265/35x17, if such a size existed... thats pretty damn huge, as camaro ss's use 17x9's with 275/40's...

Have you decided what brand/style wheel you are going to use yet? You might want or have to (depending on what offset is proper) consider custom wheels that can be taylored for your car. Fikse, Kinesis, & I believe HRE fit the bill. You might want to give one of them a call anyway, they might be able to answer your question. As far as tire size, you might be able to get away w/ a 245/40-17. My $.02.
