Default Wich Size and white ones !?

Hi,

I have a new 2002 ZX3 black with only a little bit more than 500 km on it ! ! Very Happy with it !

I just would like to know wich Size is the best for the Focus ? I would like to drop my car from like 1½ ich in the summer, so what should I do ? Wich Size should be better ? Should I put 17, 18 or may be 19 inch !? Will that make a big difference in the Speedo ?

Also, I am searching for White mags (rims). Do you know any good Company that made them ? And not too high in price ?

hey I have a 2000 Twilight Blue ZX3..

I have H&R springs on it right now (just shy of a 2" drop all around)

I have 17x7.5 inch White Motegi MR12 rims with 205/45ZR17 Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 tires on them..

the rims are like $150 each and the tires are about $100 each..

The problems is that I don't want to drop my car from 2 inch ! I am from Montreal in Canada, and in Winter we have a lot of snow so I need to be able to drive it and I am not doing only street with them.

The other problem is that I will be using my 15" during winter so if my car is dropped too much.

You need coilovers, so in the summer you lower it how much you want & in the winter be able to raise it back to stock ride height. Also, keep your stock wheels & put winter tires on them for the winter. For the summer size, it depends on what you want. I would use 17" for performance, 18" for show w/ some go, or 19" strictly for show. The taller the wheel, the shorter the sidewall of the tire will be, so you will be more susceptable to bending your wheels if you hit a pothole or something. hope this helps.

yes, coilovers are adjustable. They change the ride of your car. Yes they are expensive, but Focustuning has a great deal on the KW set for $849 US, normally $1400 US. I can't find a site in French to help explain coilovers better, but here is a link to the KW site in English: KW Suspension

Hope this helps some.

Or So I think I should go with 17 or 18 ! Probably 18 but I think that's really big. But If I drop it. But more larger they are, more money it cost.

And what are coilovers ? You mean kind of adjustable springs ? I am not really familiar with suspension and also that I am a french canadian so kind of difficult for me to understand everything.

To take adjustable thing, that probably cost really high ?

I have the 18x8 Team Dynamic Monza's. They are a great wheel extremely strong and well finished. Just remember that the larger the wheel the heavier it will be reducing the point to point acceleration. But on the other hand it will help with your road feel and turn in. Below is a picture of them installed on my car.

Oh ya I got them for just under $3000 CDN
