Will 14" Escort steelies fit 2k5 ZX3 SE? - Focaljet

I'm trying to get some winter tires on the Focus, but I want to have a set of steel wheels, so I can easily switch between winter/summer tires as needed, and don't need to pay some guy to install tires every spring/fall.

The dealership wants something like $100 per steel wheel (for 15"), no thanks. Tirerack.com doesn't have any options for steelies in any of their packages for the Focus. However, I've heard that Escort 14 inch wheels will fit (heard from a guy who knows a guy, etc), but I wanted to check and see what people have to say about that. I would just order from tirerack new (had bad experiences with junkyard wheels being all bent and beyond repair), as if I were ordering for an Escort.

What do you all think?

The early 4x108 Escort ones might, but the MazdaScorts are 4x100.

pre-91 may work. need a 4x108, and the 91 and newer are 4x100. tempo wheels may work as well.

contour/mystique wheels will work for sure, btw

Why, pray tell do you want 14" rims? I hae a set of steelie 15's if you need time.

I don't think 14's will fit the 2005's and later. All Focus models got upsized in their front disc brakes in 2005, and all standard base tires of a Focus were upsized to 195/60R15's.

Check an autoparts place or even places like Walmart.

Oh yeah--that's right. 15" Contour/Mystique/Cougar wheels will be perfect and should be easy to find in yards and/or ebay.
