Your not helping me resist!

He's making me an offer I almost can't deny. Only thing stopping me is the hope that I will still get extremely lucky and find some 17" BBS RS's for $600 or less. Doubtfull I know. Looking on ebay now to find the center caps and see how much that would put me back.

Also if the offset was 30-35 I would be all over them, but 25 is pushing what I want to run daily.

No problem, figured if you were going to get them that would be handy for getting the price down a bit.

This I agree with. Can't stretch too much on a 7". 195/40 or 185/45, and the 185 would look goofy. If they even make that size.

Could see if you could get wider barrels/shorter lips from kodiak if the bolt count or whatever is right. By the end of that you could've probably bought some RS though.

OR get 5mm milled off the mounting face. Then 195s would work I'd think.

Yea that 5 mm would help....ideally I'd like for them to be et35 though. Ugh....I hate to be kicking myself later down the road, but I think I may have to hold off. Still searching hard for some RS's (prefer 17, but would even consider 16s) or Type A's to run daily. In case anyone is interested he offered me $500 SHIPPED for them.

Wow. That amount of money couldn't even pay for one of my fake-split 7.5x16s.
I do agree that there is no visible strech on anything under 8-inch wide, but these would look stunning even with 205/50. Offset of 25 is almost but price is soooooooooo right and worth little extra adjustment.

Nevermind, I misread what you were saying. I agree the price was right for getting new barrels.

5mm is a lot to shave off the hub, would make your bolt holes fairly thin. I would not trust it, even if it may work. Barrels would be the only way to do it right. 195's on 7's is not cool in my book. Go wide, or go home!

Exactly. Stretch on a thin wheel is just lame IMO...thats why I won't run those Rikens I have since they would need stretch to fit.

My thoughts exactly. He even listed an ebay link now that has all 4 center caps with bolts and the tool for $20! So tempting, but that offset just isn't going to work well for me to run daily and changing the barrels would require me to put more money then I would like to in them.

I was going to buy these wheels today, as I have been talking to him since last weekend. Today was the first and only day I had free to go get them. Unfortunately he sold them before I could get down there.

I was going to change out the barrels too. The barrels are $$$, so unless this guy sells for $350 again I would rather invest my money on 17's.

C'mon guys, buy the wheels.

I'm not even looking to make cash off of my purchase as 4x108 is useless to me- I just want shipping to be covered and you can have these sweet ass wheels regardless of where you live. These are still true 3 piece wheels for tenzo-R pepboys money...

And to those seriously concerned about not getting stretch, there's always 165/45 federal fermoza:

He CLEARLY advertised them as 4x108 wheels, as I have been talking to him all week... So don't bring that bull that you thought they were 4x100. The are even stamped 4x108 on them.

So if you are not looking to make $$$ off it, you are selling for $350 correct? I will buy them today if so. My sister is in Chicago, and she can pick them up.

Did you think that maybe he wants to cover the money HE spent on shipping and that's why he's asking $475 not $350?

Being rude to a seller when you are a potential buyer really doesn't help your chances of being the one getting the wheels.....

Yeah seriously, he can sell them for whatever he wants. I wouldnt even sell them to someone after a comment like that. You clearly realize they are worth way more that that, so stop being cheap and just buy them for his asking price. Or you can save your $350 and buy some used rotas or something, if you are so concerned about cost.
