Ugh I'm so not a fan of obscenely stretched tires

but i love the kits and wheels on some of these fofo's

i was keeping these a secret, but seeing as how the run about 1k to ship here (sans tires), probably not gonna happen

they are inspired by the new *edit* ST (not RS) wheel, and the chrome ones come in 4 x 108, not sure about these white ones though

I really like that design and would buy a set [17/18x8] as long as 4 bolt is nicely incorporated in 5-spoke design.
Aftermarket wheels with same design ques are called Oxigin 8.

I thought I would like them, but those wheels are just too...busy. They aren't simple enough to flow well.

i know what u mean, i go back and forth on them. I mostly like them because I would be the only one around to have them, and have rare wheels are always sexier lol.. they are a little different from the actual ST's though:

of course, this would take the thread off topic, as these are clearly not 4 x 108

Yeah. Definitely gloss black.

Turns out I was wrong on the Durango. Not 5x114.3 like I thought they were... so these won't fit anyway

...My rims are on their way.

The guy shipping my tires must have some issue understanding english...He posted in his own ad "tires will be shipped the same day payment is received, professionally packaged, UPS ground." I paid for them last Tuesday, so my expectation was that it would be shipped out by Friday at the latest. I sent him a message to which he responded nicely that he'd forward shipment confirmation on by the end of the day. That was Wednesday. Needless to say, I'll be filing with PayPal to get my money back and leaving negative feedback and contacting BBB citing lack of communication and failure to follow through with previous contractual obligations set fourth by the seller. Some people are just *******s.

what's wrong with doing a hub conversion??

i really don't understand what everyone hang up is on doing the 4x100 or 4x114 conversion.
redrill front hubs and rotors replace the bearings while you are in there and then the same to the rear hubs and rotors on a SVT OR just redrill the drums!

take the parts to a local machine shop and sweet talk them with a little beer and you could probably be 4x100 for $100!

Try paying in advance, renewing your passport, driving 5 hours, crossing the border, driving to the dudes house... to find out that he decided to sell them locally 2 hours before you showed up

Internet buying blows ass sometimes.

Totally true, there is no reason that it wouldnt be a good idea. It only opens up your wheel selection. I actually just look for wheels in the width/offset that I want and make them fit my car. I had 4x108, 5x100, 4x114.3 and now 5x114.3

^ It's mainly just the added expenses at the moment. Having gone from working 65 hours a week to no job put a damper on looking for wheels that come with added baggage.

And, I love your car the way it is lol, I don't want to see you part with those.
