^^^its gonna be a close call...im gonna call minor rubbing on bumps and dips....nothing tragic....a 205/45 could possibly clear with no probs.

you will most likely rub with 40 offset. you might survive if you put 205 wide tires (or a 215/40series). but i heartily reccomend a 45mm offset to save yourself some hassle.

I've got traffiks, 40mm offset, 215/40/17 tires, I'm on a multimatic kit though.
never rubbed at all... also, I've taken some really really nasty hits from potholes and such with these wheels, they haven't bent yet. knock on wood... my friend with a Mazda 3 has gone through 2 sets of wheels due to bends or breaks, driving on the same roads as me... and I have no problems even on smaller tires!

um... its supposed to be like 1.2" or something for a stock focus. So maybe .5-.75 for a stock SVT.

I've been running a 40 offset with 215-45-16 falkens and H&R coilovers and have had absolutely no issues.

do ya'll think a 42 would give me enough clearance...i know most say 45 but i cant find a black 45et wheel to save my life that looks good or is a reasonable price (around $150) if ya'll have any options i havent seen let me know. I have the SVT 5 spokes now and just want something different.

42mm should fit great. I can't even recall how many different set of wheels we've dealt with that had zero issues with 42mm.
