Well i i tried to install S.S brake lines on my ST and well i got the Front passenger, and both rear but once i got to the driver front line, well it just doesn't want to disconnect from the main line, it came off easy on the other 3 but not this one, i loosen the tread all the way and it still wont come off even tugged it a bit and nothing
. so i tighten then loosen and nothing . i just put the car back together and park it, good thing i have another car to go to work. do you guys have any ideas or suggestion that might help me. Thank You

I don't know how successful it would be, but you could try pressing on the brake pedal. You will probably have to bleed the other three lines to get all the air out, but completely take apart the fitting, then put some pressure in the system. That may break it loose. Good luck.

I'd wrap a towel around the line while doing this procedure.

sounds like the cable is pinched on something.... can you wiggle the hard line out of its mounting bracket? like push it down or something to release it from the bracket, or is it all together until you unscrew and disassemble it?
I honestly can't remember how it worked on my car, but I had the same problem, where one or two didn't want to come apart... It took some pliers, wrenches, and manhandling, but I got it.

^^ its actually the hard line with the rubber line that wont disconnect
, i haven't driven my car since that day and i actually felt bad for the guy, so me and my coworker tried again to get that line off and well no luck, and well heres the deal.. i started to loosen the nut and it started to get loose and looser until it got hard and then all of a sudden loose again. So.... were thinking that the lines got crossed threaded . but was able to retighten with out a problem.so the only opinons would be to replace the hard line and when doing so install the last line, and well i dont have another one, except take it to the ford dealer next to work and have them give it a try but i know that is going to be expensive even with employee discount. And just one question can i drive my car with the 3 S.S. lines and one rubber stock line , with out causing some damage???

So does the stock nut back out completely from the rubber hose and then get caught on something? or Does the nut go a few turns and then just spin?
Its possible that it cross threaded, but I find that hard to believe. I think you would have issues retightening it afterward.

Since you got the nut to loosen, just keep on going past the tight spots. It will come off. A line wrench will certainly help. But vise grips if you really need to as a last resort.

the nut will get loose after the tight spots and if u continue it will get tight again and then loose again.

The threads must be bad then. You "destroy" the piece to get it apart.
