TBH, I'm not a big fan of the wheels them selves. Gold would be the way to go, but maybe in a different style wheel. I don't think the style of wheel suits your car very well. But its your car.

I think you should keep what you have, and spend the money on repainting your front bumper sides and trim. And perhaps a different hood... Just my opinion. Car would like really good as one color and a little less going on-on the front of the car. But if you do go with different rims I would say.. ahhh. neither.. Looks better with the ones you have. Sorry just my opinion

x2 I like what you have on it already. The wheels you have picked out don't go with the rest of the car. just my opinion but maybe if the black and polished wheels were solid flat black with out any polished areas then it would flow nice

Those wheels look nothing like what a WRC car would run. You really should get a multispoke wheel like the TD Pro Race 1, or a 5 spoke wheel like the Pro Race 2, and do them in white.

http://www.forddesktops.com/browse.asp?f=rallye

Look in there and see how many of the WRC cars are running white wheels.....

so you are telling me the wheels i m going to get is not multispokes??
same 15 spokes with different shape but close enough..

and i was looking at team dynamics wheels and the reason i m not getting is, they want full deposit first and wait about 2 months..and then i will have to pay duty/brokerage fee and taxes becuase i m in canada..
and that $$$ addupto oz superturismo..

No, they are multispokes, but the style is not the same.

bronze/gold

black

These are showey rims with a polished lip and look like they would snap in half if you hit a rock.....which rally cars go over all the time.

These would be a closer match in overall style to what a WRC car would run than what you have picked out:

They might not be 15 spoke, but they are all one color, have clean lines, and look sturdy, plus they are just $126 each.

Default Re: which one should i go with??black or bronze/gold?

I'm with Jason, the style of wheel just does'nt hit home the WRC look. The one he posted is alot closer. And I'm sure if you get on ebay or look thru some wheel vendor catalog's, you will find something close to a WRC wheel, with out the 'WRC' price.

The original ones would'nt be bad if they were blasted and powdercoated in a solid gloss white. But there are too many grooves and ridges to the wheel still.

I don't think we're not really saying the wheels are bad or look bad on the car, its just your aiming for the WRC look, and the black/gold ones just don't do it...

And after looking at the car, you could also consider a set of EAPs in white/black/argent. They all look 'rally-ish', and are really cheap.

One a side note, from Jason's link...I'd kill to have a set of WedSports....mmmmmmmm

$126 each only if i live in the states..
about the color beside black/gold, i m not going with white for now..
well, i said, wrc look, not the color of wrc wheels..
if i don;t like gold, i can always paint white later..

You live in Canada. With the crappy value of the US dollar, I am sure you can still get some fairly cheap.

Now, you said "WRC look" and as I provided with the link earlier, almost every single WRC car in those images are using white wheels.

The "look" is not just about the style of wheel, but also the color.

If you choose one of the two wheels you listed you will:

1) Not have the WRC style
2) Not have the WRC color

But it doesn't matter. You asked for our opinions, yet you don't seem to care what most of us are saying. It's your car.....do what you want even if it doesn't go with the "WRC look" you are trying to achieve.

yeah I'm not a fan of the original rims, I was shown them in a store front the other day and I said to the owner: BAH, those are hideous! haha, team dynamics multispokes ftw!

oh well, then i should've paint my car white or red whatever it is..before getting wheels..

if you are saying white makes car looks wrc-ish, then take a look at them again..there is also bronze and silver too..you may have seen most of them are using white but there is other colors too..

and what do you mean by i didn't care anything about what you said..i clearly said, if i don't like color, i said i am going to paint white later..

anyway i will have to wait more and more to get new wheels..
now i am running 3 18" and 1 14" stock..
