Has anyone seen or bought any rotors for an SVT that are smaller than stock? I have 16's that don't fit over the stock brakes + calipers, so i'm looking for some rotors that are an inch or so smaller than the OEM ones. Any help is much appreciated!

If you do smaller rotors, then you have to relocate the Caliper also. Basically do a reverse SVT to ZX3 brake swap.
I'd think the wheels would not be worth the loss in braking power. |

Oh they're worth it. For as much time and money as i spent on them, pretty much anything is worth it at this point. ![]() |

Focus ST front brakes are slightly smaller than the SVT hardware.

Exactly... Any 05-07 rotor & caliper combo will be exactly what you need. Same swept area with a smaller diameter.

And those should bolt right up to the SVT knuckle too AFAIK.

Oh sweet! The ST's sound like exactly what the doctor ordered! So who's got any they need to get rid of?!

SVT rear brake assemblies are a lot smaller than the SVT front brakes, aren't they? Seems like any 16-inch wheel that would clear those ST front calipers would clear the SVT rears. No? |

I'll have to test fit the wheels again, but they didn't clear the first time i tried them. I could have been in a haze brought on by disbelief at the fronts not fitting, however. ![]() |

Heck, any 15" wheel will clear the SVT rear brakes.
I'm curious to see what 16" wheel you've found that doesn't fit the front! ![]()

I would try to find an ST first and see if your wheels fit before ordering the ST package and putting it on your car. Seems there should be one in the area. Also very interested to see what wheels you are wanting to run to get them to fit this badly. |

Well, i'll have pics up as soon as humanly possible, believe me!
I'll give ya a hint: they're from Italy, and they're stamped July 1992. And they're originally from a European Ford product. I think. ![]() |

Leo Capaldi has the only ST with a 2.0 duratec. I think soon you may have the first SVT with an inferior brake setup

Can you post a picture of the interference you are getting? What is the offset of the wheel? We haven't seen many issues with 16" wheels over the SVT calipers.
