Default Hawk hps, EBC green stuff and red stuff

I need everyone's opinion on these three pad choices on which is the best.... thanks!

Oh, and between Brimbo cross drilled rotors or EBC slotted and dimpled...which would you choose?

well i have the greenstuff. and they are nice coming from the OEM. i dont know about the hawks but the redstuff is only good if you take your car to road corse tracks or auto-x. i was looking at the redstuff and i was told by steeda that redstuff is just to much and they stopping power when they are cold is not that good.

Hawk would be a better choice to EBC imo. Great stopping power, paired with decent tires you can really generate some G.

Green stuff pads don't work well for anything except for moving your car out of the driveway. The red stuff pads work okay at the track. The HPS pads work well for street/autocross duty. Slotted/dimpled/drilled rotors work well for car shows but do save a very small amount of rotating mass.

All that said, I run motorcraft pads on my daily driver, HP+ on my track car, and high quality blank rotors on both cars (not $20 autozone specials).

The drilled rotors I thought was for heat and gas disapation. Is all that a load of crap?

Drilled rotors crack easily as well.

    Slotted or blanks.

I have the EBC slotted and dimpled with Green pads. I don't get it when people say they don't work. A lot better that the stock pads.

I didn't say they don't work. I had a buddy that autocrossed on drilled rotors with no problems. I would only find a benefit in the lighter rotating mass. Other than that, they offer less friction area and less mass to absorb braking energy. And green stuff pads do not work as well as stock pads, though they may create less dust.

Drilled are Ok if you can afford to replace them often. Like every weekend.
Not up to racing, and the weight savings is marginal.
I destroyed a set in 2 days at Sebring.
Slotted / dimpled are labor intense. Blank work fine and last longer.
I didn't like EBC Green on my SVT Contour at all.
Hawk HPS are a good upgrade, HP+ are nice, but not rotor friendly. Really wear them down in day to day driving. Never get warm enough.
I have a buddy that has used Hawk Blues on a 3200 lb A/Sedan car with great results (multi time SARRC champion). Won't work on street at all, though.

I found a set of EBC slotted and dimpled for 100 bucks and im going with the hawk pads but I got to chose the rotor now. I have green stuff now but the best brakes I ever had on my car was the hawk pads with roush drilled rotors. Since the EBC's are so cheap I want them but I dont want crappy brakes neither. (strapped for cash a little bit right now)
