Hey all,
I'm about to get the rally brake kit, it's more of a maintenance issue than an upgrade for me as the following parts need replaced: -front right wheel bearing (squeaking due to age and curb incident) -front right knuckle (pretty sure its tweaked from curb incident and rust) -front left knuckle/bearing (rust and age) -right rear brake does not brake worth a damn, can spin the wheel before the lugs come loose when someone is hitting the brake pedal! -all brake hoses are factory with 190k miles -handbrake cables are not really working anymore (rust?) -left rear wheel studs are barely long enough for my summer wheels -I have the annoying drum hum and never got around to fixing it Plus I just plain hate drum brakes and dont want to waste $200 on a new set that wont stop any better. Im doing the rally and not SVT because A) the front pads I want (Axxis ULT's) are only made for the 05-07 brakes B) rally kit is less expensive C) I already have 15" winter wheels. Anyway, my questions. There is no parts list posted anywhere for this kit in particular so I need to know the following. When you opened the box and checked the inventory, did it have the following things: 1. front brake hoses? 2. all 4 hub retaining nuts aka axle nuts? 3. new bearings installed in the front knuckles? 4. new bolts and nuts for the lower ball joint? Thank you so much to whoever can answer and does.... I hate making multiple orders and paying shipping again. |

When I installed my SVT Brakes Kit on my ZX3 with Clint and Rick two years ago, it arrived with:
1. front brake hoses 2. 2 front axle and 2 rear spindle retaining nuts 3. new bearings installed in knuckles, but I had to press the new hubs into the bearings in the knuckles. A simple HF press did the job nicely. 4. don't remember! Someone at Tousley will know. Ask them.

I have a whole lot of conflicting information in the kit I just put on my car.
1. No, new front brake hoses are NOT included. The long hoses that are included are for the rear. 2. Yep, came with all 4 new hub nuts. 3. The knuckles came with new bearings installed. I had to press the hubs in. 4. It did not come with ball joint bolts. And I should have bought new ones when I got the kit... I'll be posting a full parts list here since one of those doesnt exist yet

Finally made that parts list. $3061.34 using list prices on all the parts. $2021.96 using Tousley's website. Wow.

I recently purchased the rally brake kit (M-2300-ZXR) and it did come with new front brake hoses. I don't know why your kit didn't include them?
