Default Gold or bronze calipers, Black EAPs *quick opinions*

Ok so Monday I'm dropping off my wheels to get powder coated glossy black. The car will be on stands for a few days so that I can do some brake work. I'm going to be repainting my calipers either gold or bronze. What do you guys thinks?

Thanks
Tom

Bronze, being a darker color, will show less brake dust.

Yes! I thought I saw a picture of your car with them. That's what inspired me to do it that color. Looks great bro. I've always loved your cars. Can I ask how you did it? What paint?

Its was just a spray can of Gold. It was a can I found in my dad's garage. I've never seen the kind of paint before.

I didnt mean that, My 6 piston brembo's on my 06' M3 are painted. and "all" those sti's and porsches and so on come stock with brembo BBK on them already so no its not "ricey" at all, and 02 designs I never said that you had "stock" calipers on your car.

i wasnt sure who your post was aimed at. i dont think painting calipers is rice since its just trying to clean up the appearence of a car. now painting drums any color but black is stupid...lol if thats what u meant id agree with u!

Haha bro look at my car and tell me that ANYTHING on it is remotely ricey. I went with gold because I wanted to add a bit of flavor behind the black wheels. I had them painted silver, which they come stock that color, so that they wouldn't rust and look nasty. Now painting drums I agree is ricey as hell any color but black. If I could afford it Id pick up a set of brembos but sorry bud not all of us own an M3.

Ugh! I hate gambling and losing. The damn calipers are bad. And and spending 2 days painting them I have to wait til Tuesday and spend another 150 bucks for new calipers. I'll be selling the brand new pads when the parts come becase they come loaded
