oh my that is pure sex, holy.

thats 17x9 et27 correct?

im thinking 17x8 et20's but damn do those look good, i kept thinking there would be a big lip on them but no seeing them 17x9's may just have to be the ones haha

how much did those cost you per wheel?
if you dont mind me asking, i already got a quote from TD them selves, i also got like 6 color choices.

yes the front fenders and rear QP's are rolled. the clearance would be even better then the pics show if the suspension was loaded cause they would camber in more.

Are tires mounted going to hit the springs or perch up front? Looks like it might be close after the suspension is loaded.

Coilovers may be a necessity for this if they do clear.

it shouldnt hit since its the same inner clearence as my current 17x8's, and im not going to go with a crazy tire size.

i think a 9" rear would look absolutely sick, and i think it would fill up the RS gap nicely but the front would have to be 8"s
but damn they are sexy,
and is that 'Anthracite" for the color?

i was offered gold but when i searched they really meant gold cause they are like super bright.

i want anthracite, but think the racing black, matte black, primer. Are all good colors

i mean a gold thats not like super bling gold, like a dark classy gold, like the subaru STI BBS's. but bronze would be cool too.

just for the record, the Pro race 1.2's in 17x9 are weigh in at 20 lbs, and SVT euro 17x7 is 20.3

Pro race 1.2 weights

7.0 x 14 from 5.7kgs (12.5lbs)
7.0 x 15 from 6.1kgs (13.4lbs)
7.0 x 16 from 7.4kgs (16.2lbs)
7.0 x 17 from 7.9kgs (17.3lbs)
7.5 x 17 from 8.2kgs (18.0lbs)
8.0 x 17 from 9.0kgs (19.8lbs)
9.0 x 17 from 9.5kgs (20.0lbs)
8.0 x 18 from 9.0kgs (19.8lbs)
9.0 x 18 from 10.0kgs (22.1lbs)
9.0 x 20 from 14.5kg (31.9lbs)

what tire size are destined for those wheels? 245? 255?

I've got F2 fender flares going on front and back this winter and I'll probaly look into getting wider wheels to fill them in.

Remember, the strut and wheel move together. The wheel will not get any closer to the spring when the suspension is loaded.

You know, I had realized this when I thought more about it last night, but didn't post anything and was hoping noone would notice so I didn't look like an idiot.

Were is that pic from Davor for example? His fitment was the closest I have even seen.

Edit: Nevermind, that pic is on page 1. The answer was right under my nose...

235-40-17's fit on a 9" wheel very well

Actually, that's a bit stretched in an r-comp, very stretched in a street tire.

Default Re: Nine inch wide wheels (widebody)... overkill?

my 235's now on pinched on my current 8 inch rims, later in the month im going to mount up one of my 235's onto the 9 and see how it fits, its seems like all the max perf street tire now run super big, a 235mm star spec, re11, r1r etc are bigger then a 245 RT615. So i think the 235 would be great on the 9's with a slight stretch for optimum sidewall dynamics/good trasitional response under load.
