Default Grinding? noise not brakes?!?!?!?

Hello everyone, I have a grinding type noise that occurs when the front end is loaded. Like when you are braking kind of aggressively and the front end dives or when you go over a speedbump kind of slow and the front end bounces down. It is only when the front is loaded that it occurs. Sounds/feels almost like the pads are gone but the brakes are fine. When I searched I read somewhere that it might be tire noise but I'm not sure. Motor mount? Wheel bearings? I thought wheel bearings roared but went away if you gave it a little tap of the brakes? It does not appear to be directional. Does it straight or turning. It is an 02 zx3 w/ 80K. I just bought it and thought it needed brakes but now I'm stumped. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Chad
