Welcome to the Jet. If you look around we are a little different from other forums. We do not allow alot of the 4 letter words so if you could refrain from using them while posting we would appreciate it. Also please remove the pic from your sig as they are also not allowed.

You are fine visiting here. It's just that you came out the box a little strong. You still need to take the pic out of your sig. We do not allow them at all.

And stay there as long as you like!

But before you check out FF, may I suggest that the Focus will never be quite as fast as someone like yourself may want it to be*...but the car rewards the driver with much more than horsepower. If you can get along with that fact, then, you have a chance at really liking the car over the long term. The Focus's "driving dynamics" have had no equal in it's class for almost an entire decade until the most recent introduction of some badge-reengineered foreign sheetmetal, namely the Saturn Astra and cars of that ilk.

*...until one lays down some considerable cash for a well-developed forced induction setup and bigger brakes...

Anyway, welcome to [FJ]focaljet.

Nah. You're prolly too cool.

Without asking you to be someone you're not, tone down your delivery and you'll find that you might just want to stay here rather than anywhere else on the wwweb.

haha the wagon and buick i biult from a car some old seniors owned.
i biult the buick in 7 months and the wagon in about 8 months.i know the focus is not the beast but mine handles like its on rails, hands down the best handleing car ive ever owned.see i like different.im not into the norm!like s10 or civic.i like to biuld nasty cars that not many do.ok heres the deal im pulling out the zex kit of retirement....i want to take off the rev limiter, speed govenor, add 2 step.just gonna do a small shot(will stock handle a 25???)and then with the other motor i want a supercharger and build the bottom end.but first i just wanna make this thing a little faster.and i wasnt trying to bash the focus at all(hell i drive a pink wagon around half the time)i just never saw myself in one.but driving the little bastard really changed my outlook on it and i am gonna keep it...also i really want a front lip.

honestly I wouldn't bother with supercharging that car.

with the amount of power your probably wanting, you just won't see that with the supercharger kits out for our cars. Also, the most powerful supercharger we have for our Zetecs have been blowing up and breaking left right and centre.

turbocharging, that's where it's at on those motors. You'll like it here, by the way. I don't own a Focus, neither do lots of the people on this site, but they stay because of the people and the fact that there are only a 'couple' of douchebags on here versus the typical honda forum where 75-85% of them are douchebags sure helps.

my civic was retarded-407 whp dyno'd.progressive boost control.fun car but i left the import scene cause of the douche bag factor.hands down horsepower to money ratio my honda was the fastest car ive owned and the cheapest to build.my buick i have 26 grand into and i did most of the work.and it caught on fire once so now its getting redone.im not looking for crazy power.just something with a little balss so when the need to smoke some turd in a civic i can do it.and plus i have a huge rep in my area .that wagon is my daily driver.well now this is so i have to make it legit.and when i build others usually follow.and this little thing is cool.we have a one way road two lanes wide at our garage.we have a 1/8 mile set up.i beat a civic with a b18b1 by a half car.granted im a better driver.and im basically stock.

oh it burns it. I'm using now 10w30 mobil 1 in it. it doesn't burn it as fast anymore, that vtec is a oil killer

my old honda with the same motor just not boosted would go through oil faster than normal (also because it had a leaky HG)
