Need help installing SVT Sub - Focaljet

I need to see how do you connect a factory sub/amp from an SVT focus to another SVT focus (mine) that didn't come with the sub. It has the harness and when i go to connect it, it doesn't work. I went to my local shop and they told me the amp and sub are fine. They told me the problem is in the car. Please let me know if there is something else i have to connect. Thanks
