Pretty much. When the engine's turning at any RPM above 1000 or so, you're fine.

I only note this because I'm an Arizonan, and A/C is necessary.

Yet, if I can run an UDP....

You shouldn't have THAT much issue with a UDP and a/c running. I've had a UDP for over 7 years and the tradeoff is okay for my tastes i.e.

Agreed, but if he's in a warm climate, he should at least know that there's the slight risk. As a disclaimer.

Like I said, if I can stand to run an UDP in 115 degree heat...
