I agree also....I've called and tried to get an answer of what is on the car, but couldn't talk to the focus man. If you could please post the list of mods and how much you think the car ways. Maybe some pics too. Good work So does that mean if i got 20hp more i would be in the 13's?......j/k no it wouldn't cause my car is a peice of junk.

nice high end #s, but I don't know how much I'd like to be driving my car at 6-7K+ rpms all the time to make my power...up until 4600rpms, those match STOCK focus #s or are worse in terms or torque...yikes. Maybe very good for racing (the intended application here, I would assume), but not so fun on the street for a daily driver. I'll take boost, please

guys....i was there, and the car still needs tuning, but it did good for now.

STOCK RODS< STOCK PISTONS< STOCK UPPER END< STOCK BLOCK

Pectel to raise the rev limiter

BUT< its not only because of the revs that the car made so much power, at 7000rpm, what everyone can have with the diablo chip, there was still 169whp!!!!!!!!!!!!! So the pectel realy is there to extend it and keep the power longer for drag racing, thats what the car is for

IT has things like cams, good headwork with nice compression, all the bolt ons, manifold and such things from FC.

The car screamed, like a real race car, cams came on hard and just rocketed the car forward. But still needs tuning, so theres more in it.

Just so you guys know, this car is designed to be a drag racing car. This car will never see under 5500 rpm at the track. Bottom end torque is not really a concern.

Here is a list of our current setup aside from a few top secret mods that can't be listed:

FC Stage 3 cylinder head
Head milled .070"
stock valvetrain
stock bottom end
Prototype 4-1 drag race header
2.5" flexpipe
magnaflow catback
Crower Stage 2 cams
Ford Racing Intake Manifold
Prototype Race Throttle Body
Volant Intake
FC ram air hood
FC Cam Sprockets
FC pulley kit
Pectel engine management(just for rev limiter removal)
4.06 gears
Prothane Motor Mount
Quaife Diff.(Coming out)
FC Race Shifter(1.5" shorter than regular short shifter)
91 octane pump gas(chevron)

That's about it. If I left any areas unmentioned please let me know.

Two questions, is this a dailey driver or pure race car, two, why are you taking out the quaife differential?

Should we be concluding that the FC cold air intake is not going to be ready for some time since you had a volant on and not a prootype of it?

its used for racing BUT THIS IS NOT THEIR FULL BLOWN RACE CAR that they are working on, this is a car with mods that EVERY single person on here can buy, they are street parts and the car easily will run on the street. But it will be used mostly for drag racing.

YES STOCK valvetrain.

The car finally sounds like a race, at about 4500rpm, just comes alive, great to watch on the dyno.

I too am surprised about the quaife, but i guess dennis got better launches on the open diff with the slicks...weird, but hey, whatever works right?

Nader, tell em bout the bottle fed zx3
