header question - Focaljet

i just got a 4-1 custom header that has an exit port of 2.5" and have a 2.5" borala exhaust and am going to have a local exhaust shop fab me a 2.5" in flex but basically my question is how loud is this going to be because i am not in to loud(ricey as well)???

Do you have the SVT Borla (with resonator) or the regular Borla (no resonator). With the regular Borla, it will be pretty loud and you will probably want to look at getting a resonator welded in there. The SVT version will be much louder over the stock header/cat/flex setup, but about as quiet as you can get with a Borla. The Borla mufflers are great so it shouldn't sound ricey with a resonator.

I have a FC 4-2-1 header, Bosal flexpipe, and the non-stealth FS exhaust (has a resonator and muffler). Everything is 2.25" and it's fairly loud. It's not really ricey, but it can be kinda annoying at times. You'll definately feel a major improvement though. Good luck with installation and everything.

its gonna be pretty loud. not too bad at cruise at least from inside the car. outside the car it is loud as hell though

lol it has a muffler but without a resinator and thanks for all the help now i know what i am in for
