Fuel pump issues??

Hey alls...

Lete see... for the last few weeks ive been noticing a problem with my car... when it reaches under or right at 1/4 tank of fuel... it doesnt always want to start.. and upon taking off or in corners... it seems to stumble...

now.. i know that this is a sign of fuel pump problems... only thing is... the fuel pump is less then 6k miles old... and its not the recall pump... its the later style pump that supposively didnt have the stumble issues... the late 02' early 03' pump and tank...

so... with that being said... is the pump dieing on me already or is there something im missing?

I've also noticed that ign. advance drops off quickly when taking off before it jumps back up to where its supposed to be... could these problems be linked? it only seems to show up when the fuel level is at 1/4 tank or below.

any ideas??

Not sure about the pump thing.

As far as the timing advance, when the throttle is first nailed timing is retarded and then timing is advanced. So thats normal.
