Go with something with a resonator/muffler. That way your car won't sound like total rice and won't violate local drive-by decibel laws. Just a thought, but there are numerous relatively inexpensive flex-back exhaust systems that are pretty nice and aren't that loud.

A 2 1/2" cat back with just a 18-24" resonator sounds awesome on these cars. Tuffy did mine with resonator and stainless tip for under $140. You can't beat that with a stick. Idle is smooth and quiet, under acceleration I would say its close to the tone of a barely louder than stock 350Z. I had reasonable expectations for the exhaust, but I was honestly impressed by the sound level and sound quality.
