I have a question about my engine????
i just got a 2000 zx3 kona edition and i pop the hood and the engine doesnt have the embossed zetec it has been painted or something and is hard to read but it says "stay tuned" does anyone know what this is?????

almost sounds like a pun, as if the engine has some sort of modifications, or the car has been tuned in some manner

The "ZETEC" on the valve cover will not be embossed, it is painted on. The Contours and the Escorts got the raised lettering ZETEC valve covers.
