No picture of the headers, custom made and the collector joins right below the dry sump

The engine spec of mine is massive and i would be here all day typing it all out but the final power out put of the engine has been estimated at 250 to 300bhp

When people as i always say 250 to 260+ as i don't want to be to cocky by saying more

I saw this Lotus at a body shop a few years ago...

Am I wrong in the assumption that you have to convert to MAP to run ITBs, or is it possible to build a plenum large enough to feed with a MAF (without defeating the purpose of the ITBs)? I am considering fabbing up a set of ITBs and modifying the firewall, but I don't want the additional expense of doing a Pectel or something. Lame excuse, right? Maybe I'll do that as stage 3 of the build.

There are lot's of options with ITBs.

Most people run Alpha-N (TPS input) with ITBs. Probably the hardest to tune.

You CAN run MAF with ITBs, or a hybrid of MAF/MAP. I've never tried it.

I run MAP (Speed Density). I connected all 4 runners to a common vacuum pipe and read the MAP signal from that. It gives a solid idle and great reaction to throttle changes. It's all fairly time consuming to make work (IMO).

That whole shop was one giant automotive orgy.

Yeah, the last I saw him was the day that I moved from San Diego. He brought my stock 350z wheels over that were in his storage, but he didn't have my money. I almost beat the **** out of him, but I figured that he'd probably call the cops and I would have to fly back out to go to court, or I'd spend a few days in jail. So I decided that it would be smarter to just count my losses and move on with my life.

I saw an old Mini at the track a few years ago with a supercharger on it and the way it was mounted the guy had cut a hole in the firewall and there was a big honking Weber carb coming through the dashboard.

Granted, the way he had it set up a backfire would burn all the hair off the side of your head.

The only thing stopping someone from installing a setup like that in a Focus is lack of imagination.
If you enjoy the deep powerful sounds of the intake noise, imagine how cool it would be when the intake is inside the car! Now that would be Trick!
