Iceman, FocusSport Cool-Flo, Volant, or just using the SVT airbox and snorkel.

cold air intake is also known to be a puddle drinker.
brings to mind how shopvacs have a ball float to stop up the vaccuum when the tank is full of fluid. such a ball valve could divert intake to a non-puddlesucking intake diversion. or just having a side breather on the intake tube could break the puddle siphon.

Cold air is more dense and allows more oxygen into the fuel mix resulting in more power. I diverted some of my A/C air to the air intake and added a ton more HP!

I'm sure the power increase from that colder air was offset by the drag of the compressor. Good idea in theory, but not in practice.

It's not all that different from a supercharger?

except a supercharger blows compressed air into your engine compared to slightly cooled air...

You obviously missed the thick gooey sarcasm that the comment was drowning in.

I like the ITG filter with my Iceman tube (its the focussport cool intake with the iceman tube). It pays to have a heat shield when you have a short air intake otherwise you end up getting a hot air intake.

I am going to be going over to the new Amsoil filter, my ITG is shot to heck and I am not the origional owner so with the mess of cleaning the thing, and the $80 price tag on it, I am going for the $45 amsoil air filter.

iceman or volants great whatever you do I suggest keeping the intake at least about the same heighth as the stock one up towards the grille their short ram is only good if you do something to block out the heat coming off the engine otherwise your just sucking in hot air. Or you could just replace yur stock filter with a stock K&N and open up the resonator and run a tube from it to behind the headlight. Pearsonally volants my faviorite but if u get it you have to invest in the scoop for it to.

I like my ITG filter in SVT box/snorkel, attached to Iceman tube. Cold air, perfect fit, high flow.

If you can find a used ice man, then go for it. I personally don't think the system is worth the price. The same gains can be achieved with the SVT Snorkel and cutting the bottom of the airbox to match the new port. You can then take the tube from the stock and run it out the side where the resonator used to be (and open up that hole as well).

I just run a K&N drop in panel filter with the resonator removed and the opening where the resonator used to be opened up a significant amount just for now.

In the future I may get an SVT snorkel if I end up keeping it stock or a Focus Sport or Volant if I end up modding it.

you might wanna take a look at the k&n apollo intakes. its very similar to the revered pipercross viper with the enclosed filter and cold air tube. but apparently its a fair bit cheaper.
