Default contour/escort valve/rocker cover

i always wondered how contour zetec valve cover fits on focus zetec..
i haven't seen it in person, so i don't know..

passenger side looks same but driver side is flat on contour valve and focus zetec is not..

what is required to fit on focus zetec??

Just use a Contour VC gasket. 1996 model year should do!
Oh, and be sure to snag the bushings and bolts.

Yep, exactly.

Make sure the cover you get is for a non-VCT Zetec motor. The 96 gasket has two half-moons which fill in the depressions on the Zetec head.

Get the Motocraft one too. The Felpro leaks pretty bad.

Yep. If I remember, I'll shoot a picture of mine.

Here's a sub-par pic of the gasket. You can see the half-moons on the left:

I've used the Fel-Pro one for months now, and no leakage for me?

I'm not force inducted or anything, though.
