Hey, I'm new to the forums. I have a 99' Mercury Mystique (Mistake as I call it) and it's the clone of a Ford Contour. I've been looking at the engines between my car and a 00' Ford Focus. They don't seem all that different to me. Maybe there is and I'm just not seeing it, or maybe it's my lack of experience with Fords. If anybody could tell me if, for example, a cold air intake for a 00' Ford Focus could possibly fit into my car, I would very much so appreciate it.

If you havent already, you would be better off asking that question over on Contour.org. however, since I'm one of the few CEGers who have worked with the Zetec Contour I can tell you that most of the Focus short ram intakes will work with little to no modification (some of them just require getting a slightly larger coupler to fit our MAF). the true cold air intakes wont fit without major modification due to the difference in the chassis designs.
