Each year we've ended Focus Rising with a cruise around the Carlisle/Harrisburg area with a few stops along the way. 2014 will be no different, except we are providing the cruise route for everyone before hand so you can see the awesomeness that awaits!

This route also has a halfway point where people can easily head back to the hotel if they can't do the entire cruise but would like to join for the twisty part first.

Here is the Google Maps route for the cruise: https://goo.gl/maps/OBhig

And the map:

We will leave the Motel 6 at 3pm and head down towards Waggoners Gap Road where we will stop at the summit like last year for the view.

We will then continue down Pisgah Road and down to Valley Road on to Lambs Gap road.

That will bring us down to Hwy 81 where those who need to leave early can hop on 81 back towards Carlisle. The caravan will continue the other direction on 81 towards Hershey's Chocolate World.

After our stop at Hershey's Chocolate World, we'll eat dinner at one of the local restaurants and then head back to Carlisle.

Just like last year, there will be LOTS of photos taken along the backroad route and we also like to get some great rolling shots of everyone down the highway as well.

We hope even more people can make the cruise this year since we've pushed it up earlier in the day!

I will be there with camera in hand again. Since we are not sure if Ken will be able to make it at the earlier time, I will need someone else's car to hang out of this year to take photos

Might have to tag along this year--looks like some great photo ops.

It is a climb up a short trail and up some rocks, so it's not wheelchair accessible to the top. If you come along, we'll find a way to get you up there. ;)
The lower pad is wheel chair accessable.

BTW, for those interested in this, I have personally tested this route. Lots of nice windy paths along Pisgah Road.
