Hy guys, just a quick question...

I have a mk1 2.0 zetec-e and somehow i managed to sheer the thread for the brake caliper on the knuckle so now i am on a search for a replacement. On a sunday...

My question is this, is the 1.6 knuckle same as on the 2.0?

Re: Wheel knuckle samo or not the same

I know here in North America dorman makes a fix it bolt that has oversized threads on a normal caliper pin, so when you thread it in it taps itself.

I believe all Mk1 Foci have the same suspension bits, front and rear, and the same brake bits in front, regardless of engine size... excluding the "special" cars, ST and RS.

Yes you are right. The 2.0 zetec-e even though it's on firmer dampers has the same knuckle as all the rest of the focuses...
